Coorg

The dense forests, beautiful mountains, rejuvenating coffee gardens, sandalwood tree plantation, wonderful gardens and quaint views best describe the charm of Coorg. It is truly a bird's paradise housing around 300 species of birds. There are several villages here, which serve as picnic spots. It also has some beautiful temples.


Nandi Hills

Named after an ancient Nandi temple, Nandi Hills is located in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. It boasts of its splendid bio-diversity, which attracts tourists from far and wide. The hills are a home to a variety of birds. During the winter season, a few migratory birds are also found here. Other tourist attractions of Nandi Hills are Tipu Sultan's Palace, old temples and beautiful rivers.


Madikeri

Known as the 'Scotland of India', Madikeri is a wonderful town located in the district headquarters of Kodagu at an altitude of 1,525 m above sea level. Its gorgeous hills, dense forests, charming tea and coffee gardens and breathtaking views will surely leave you spell bound.
