Built beautifully in honor of Lord Krishna, the Krishna Temple is visited by many a tourist from across the globe. There is an arresting boulder located inside the courtyard, which depicts the history of the construction of the temple and the invasion of Ulkala. The exquisite carvings of Yalis (the mythical lion) on the pillars of the temple are truly a treat to the eyes. The temple complex encompasses several small shrines. The main tower of the temple has been renovated and its mesmerizing carvings look great. The carvings on the walls beautifully tell the stories from the great Hindu Epic. The temple houses fabulous carvings of the 10 carnations of Lord Vishnu.
