Famous the world over for its beautiful Lord Venkateswara( one of the avatars of lord Vishnu) Temple, Tirupati is a highly revered pilgrimage site of the Hindus. Located ideally on the foothills of Tirumala Hills, Tirupati is dotted with several shrines such as Govindarajaswamy temple, Kodanda Ramaswamy temple, Tiruchanur( goddess Padmavathi), Kapila Theertham( lord Shiva) and Srinivasa Managapuram(Sri Venkateshwara) temple. Tirumala consists of seven peaks representing the seven hoods of Adisesha. The seven peaks are Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrishabhadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri.

Sri Venkateshwara Temple
The richest temple in the world, Sri Venkateshwara Temple is a perfect example of Dravidian style of architecture. It is the most famous pilgrimage center in South India. Dedicated to lord Venkateshwara(an incarnation of lord Vishnu), the temple attracts thousands of devotees everyday. The kings of the several dynasties such as Cholas, Hoysalas and Vijayanagaras contributed a lot to the richness of the temple. The idol of the lord inside the main shrine is self-manifested.

Srikalahasti Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple
Reflecting a perfect amalgamation of Chola, Pallava, Pandya and Krishnadevaraya styles of architecture, this temple is located on the banks of river Swarnamukhi. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva.

Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park
Sprawling over an area of 353 sq km, the Park boasts of a rich variety of flora and fauna. It is considered to be one of the finest Zoological Park in Andhra Pradesh.
