Eravikulam National Park
The establishment of this Park is a successful endeavor to save the endangered Nilgiri Tahr( a species of goat). Its scenic beauty and a rich variety of wildlife make it one of the best wildlife destinations of South India. Ruddy mongoose, nilgiri marten, dusky striped squirrel, nilgiri langur, sambhar, Golden jackel, jungle cat, tiger, leopard, elephant and Indian porcupine are a few wildlife species to mention. The perfect time to visit the Park is from November to March.
