The heavenly location of Kanyakumari is itself a great attraction. It lies at the confluence of the enchanting Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. Kanyakumari Amman Temple
Built in honor of goddess Parvati, this temple boasts of magnificent mandaps, pillars and an arresting vimanam. Several festivals are celebrated here with great enthusiasm. It is believed that it is the sacred land where goddess Kanyakumari did penance to become the consort of lord Shiva.
